Led signage
LED Sign boards are typical board that uses LED( Light Emitting Diode) as source of illumination. Why LED? Because they are easy to maintain. They are cost effective and illumination is much better compared to other boards. They consume less electricity too which is good for the environment.
Their day time visibility is also good and very safe too. Today almost all retail shops, hospitals, hotels & restaurants, furniture shops use some form of LED signage because of the distinct benefits it offers.
Even Alfa communication is the single largest vendor in Odisha when it comes to putting Installation in different exhibitions. There are many kinds of boards which are called LED board just because they use LEDs as their source of light. However below are few other types that we deal in.
neon signage
Before the advent of LED signage Neons ruled the market. They apparently look similar to LED hence most people confuse between NEONs and LEDs. They are good to look in night, uses tube filled with gas and are fragile. But during night they glow brightly. Drawbacks are many hence LED became popular. Neon signages are costly in the long run compared to LED as maintenance cost is high, gives less illumination compared to LEDs during night and looks dull during the day. Also material is very fragile as glass tubes are used. We predict death for neon signages unless more advanced versions are explored.
Clip on sign
These boards are perfect for indoor use especially in retails show rooms, restaurants, watch shops etc. It is much like a photo frame but with illumination. There are translite LED panel that illuminates the thin frames thus giving a stunning look. It is a great way to display marquee products. Though it is little costly, but we promise the look and glow over shadows every other type of display boards. Directional signage
These are signages placed to guide people about location, directions etc. The board can take any form like Non-lit Boards, LED signs, simple acrylic letters. Generally people use inexpensive option for this kind of boards.
Pylon signage
These are mostly used in shopping or office complex. They are a group of slim boards stacked vertically in a column or monument style. They are slim and vertical that rise upto 25ft height housing number of boards.
They can both be non-lit or lit. They aim to preserve space, less costly when calculated against individual boards and people can have information at one point.
Fabric sign
It is one of our soft signage system which is gaining ground recently. Here fabrics are printed, stretched and fitted in the frame or box. The Signage is illuminated with LED panel to create gorgeous display materials. It is ideal for use in retail stores, malls, restaurants etc.
Liquid letters
This is the next generation technology which is gaining ground very fast. They offer the highest illumination thanks to the seamless covering of sides. They are mostly made up of acrylic letters.
Metal cut letters
As the name suggests these are metal letters cut by machine. Generally they are used in Non-lit board or signages but one can illuminate the background keeping the letters dark or opaque. They are mostly used indoors like reception counters.
Acp cladding
ACP or aluminium composite panel are widely used across industry for their signage purposes. They are durable, gives a gloss finish and have better visibility. They are available in different thickness and visually appealing colours. The use of ACP as base material is quite common today.
CNC laser cutting
In CNC laser cutting, a high power laser is used to cut into different surfaces like metal, wood, stones, glass etc. It can produce brilliant patterns cut precisely over the surfaces. It is very popular because it has high accuracy, produces finished edges and time-efficient. Designs that can take months for artisan to create can be created in minutes.
